Cassius

In the play "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar", Cassius is a general who abhors the power and admiration of Caesar. His jealousy and ambition to drive out of his power is what brings thrills and an evil twist in the story. In Act 1 he is portrayed as an observant and persuasive man that Julius finds dangerous and hungers for power. He tries to manipulate Brutus during a conversation and says that Caesar is not worthy enough for being seen as a god and does not deserve power. Throughout the play he seems to have his mindset on doing what ever it takes for Caesar to fall.
