Good Act

Over the summer, I was at Eastlake High School for Les Miserables rehearsal and one of my friends was sick. Her father could not give her a ride home since he was working. So I had to use my folder and waft it up and down to give her some cool air and I looked for some water. So I gave her some water and something to sleep on.Then she got some sleep, and went back to performing. Finally, she got a little better after rehearsal was over.

Being a Good Samaritan

One on the first day of school, in middle school, the style for kids was that 8th graders were better than 7th graders in any way. It was lunch time and everybody got into their normal groups of circles. The 8th graders got out first and then the 7th graders after that so that the lunch area would not be crowded. The bell rung and out came the 7th graders and one of them was holding a red gigantic three ringed binder that had a bunch of papers in it. I was walking with my friends and the kid got bumped by a 8th grader, causing him to drop the binder and some papers. At least five or six people walked by him as they stepped all over his belongings. I felt bad so I quickly ran over and helped him with his papers. He told me thanks and asked me for my name. I introduced myself and told him it was no problem. At that time I did not care that he was a 7th grader because it kinda felt good to help someone out when they were down.

Being a Good Samaritan

Being a Good Samaritan helps create a safer community and it benefits everybody. One day there was this old man having an argument with a cashier. The problem was that the man wanted to return an object he bought, however; he was at the wrong cash register. The problem was that the old man did not speak English and the lady did not speak Spanish so she could not redirect him due to the line that had formed. In order to solve the conflict, I stepped in and translated for the man and resolved the problem.

How I was a good Samaritan ^.^

When I was in elementry school I used to be a sergent in safety partol. In safety partol I was always helping kid cross the street and direct the traffic going into and out of the school. I was in it for 3 years from 4th grade to 6th. For me that was being a good samaritan because well that was all I can remember doing. I've done other helpful things but I never thought of them as being a good samaritan it was just something anyone should do almost natural to do it so I don't really remember it.

Being a Good Samaritan

In elementary school, we had an assignment where we had to draw and use our creativity. This assignment required us to use the resources around the classroom including construction paper, markers, scissors, glue, and crayons.  Our classroom had a giant box of crayons organized by colors, and it was kept on the top shelf of the cabinet.  One student decided to get them out of the cabinet, while the rest of us waited and watched so we could get our share of crayons.  While grabbing the box, he knocked it over and all of the crayons spilled all over the floor.  I could tell he was embarrassed, because after that everyone got quiet and stared.  I felt sympathy and I decided to help pick up the crayons.  A similar situation has happened to me and I knew how embarrassed I felt; so I guess I just wanted to ease the pain off of him.   After that, the other bystanding students helped out also.  He seemed to feel  better when everyone got down on their knees to help.  I felt accomplished knowing that I not only made a student feel better but I also set an example that my fellow students followed.

A Good Samaritan

I can not forget that moment. It was during Freshmen year and it was the 2nd to the last week before the first semester ended. I do not know what happened the day before but I remember being really out of the world during that time. I was not myself. Something was occupying my mind. It was probably the stress of exams for the first semester and I wanted to get good grades on my test to get over the borderline of my grades. It happened during passing periods of 3rd to 4th period. during 3rd period, I did not keep track of time so I did not get to put any of my papers away in my binder so I rushed to my 4th period thinking I would be late, as I got to the building, I tripped and fell on my knees and all my papers went flying everywhere. I sat there not bothering to pick up my papers because I was out of it and I did not think about anything. My knees were hurting and it felt like i couldn't get up. About 3 kids passed by me and they did not bother to help. Soon a friend of mine coming saw me and ran to me passing by his 4th period class. He helped me up and got all my papers for me. He told me to snap out of it and focus. He smiled and snapped a hundred times in my face to wake me up and I did. I said thank you and rushed to class. Even if he was my friend, he was a good samaritan to me because he actually bothered to help me up and help me snap out. After that incident, I started to focus more and became less clumsy throughout the day. That is why I always feel like I should help people even if I don't know them because of that day when I was wondering in my own little world and only my friend came to help me out when I was in need, making him a good Samaritan in my eyes.

A Good Samaritan

One day I went to the grocery store to buy the groceries as I was starting to walk in I see an elderly man getting ready to leave as he was leaving the grocery store he dropped all his bags in the ground, and everything was scattered everywhere. I knew I needed to hurry, and buy the groceries but as I stopped and saw what happened I decided to pick up all his bags, and helped his take them to the car because I didn't want his to do it by herself. I knew i was going to be in trouble by taking too long but I knew it was the right thing to do :)
