Dear Congressman Bob Lee:

I am a resident of California and I am concerned in the Good Samaritan law that the government is currently debating on. I believe we should not have a good samaritan law because everyone should know that it is their duty to help others and because helping others may hurt themselves as well.

We should not have have Samaritan law because everyone should help others without a law enforcing it. Everyday people are helping others, for example, helping elders cross the street. Another reason why this law should not be enforced is because in the person who is helping may get hurt as well. For example, someone is getting beat up and if you help them, you may get beat up as well.

Thank you for taking your time to read this and for your concern.

Sincerely,

Courtney Ko
