Plagiarism is the unauthorized imitation of another author's work. Basically it is copying another person's work. This should never be done because it can not only cause problems for the one copying, but everyone that was involved. The policy now is that if you are caught copying is you will get a zero on your work, your parents will be notified, and you will be given an "F" in citizenship. These consequences are very harsh and they should be because I think that people should not get credit for another person's hard work.
