Plagiarism is when you copy someone elses work and pass it as your own. It is unacceptable and when caught you should be punished. People who plagiarize are either to lazy or don't have enough self confidence to do their own work. Plagiarism can affect other peoples thoughts of you as well. Teachers and other school administrators lose respect for you, and colleges and jobs look down on you. It has many negative effects.
