Plagiarism

Plagiarism is basically a theft committed by a person who tries to take another person's idea or work, and then claim it as if it belonged to them. It is not right because taking credit for someone's work is unfair to the one who has been copied from. Most people who plagiarize are either lazy to think of ideas or do work in their own words, or they simply can not paraphrase something, or they forget to give credit to the author they "copied" from. It is taken seriously, to a point where a student can be expelled from school or get involved the police. Nobody wants their hard work or significant ideas copied exactly word for word, and then noticing the other person who copied them says those ideas are their own.
