Plagiarism

Plagiarism is when someone copies work or ideas from someone else without authorization or without giving the author they copied from credit. This is when someone claims their work as their own. Many students do this because of laziness or the inability to complete their work; so they decide to ask others for their work or get work off websites on the internet. There is no point in plagiarizing because it does not truly benefit one when learning. Sure, you may be "completing" your work, but it is not really your work. Plagiarizing also comes with a consequence. At high schools it is a referral and anything else the school requires and at colleges, it is immediate expulsion. There is no point in plagiarizing. It does not help you when learning and you can get in serious trouble if caught. Think twice when wanting to copy other people's work.
