Plagiarism

You are writing an assignment for school, but along the way you get lazy or frustrated. You then search the internet, highlight, copy, and paste. At the moment you are thinking, "Yes! My homework was done in a flash!" Consequently, the next day your teacher gives to you an F scholarship and citizenship. This is one of the usual scenarios that occur when a student chooses plagiarism, an it is not worth allthe consequences that come with it. The dictionary definition of plagiarsm is: the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them a one's personal work, as by not crediting the author (Dictionary.com). Copying someone elses work, and eventually getting caught creates a poor reputation for any student. It shows you are not dedicated, or intelligent enough to jot down your own ideas. Overall, this action is dishonest, laziness, not worth all the trouble, and on top of that you learn nothing from it!
