Plagiarism is copying someone and not giving them credit. This can negatively affect you because homework is for practicing a skill and if you plagiarize, you will be unprepared for a test or quiz. It also affects you because your grades and records will be ruined. According to Olympian High's rules, if you plagiarize, you will get a zero on the assignment, an F on citizenship, and a conference between the counselor, teacher, and parent. These severe consequences are placed to stop anyone from even thinking about plagiarizing.
