Hurricane Irene

People living on east coast of the America are becoming more aware and prepared for Hurricane Irene. The tropical storm has already hit the Caribbean and in most parts of the Bahamas. The storm first hit on August 23, 2011. This hurricane has destroyed many homes in the Dominican Republic and flooded parts of Haiti. Reporters feel that the storm will get stronger as coming to the United States. Affecting water supply and suposed to be heading towards North Carolina in the beginning of September. This natural disaster is the first since 2008 to hit the United States. It caused many power shortages and floods.
