Being a good Samaritan and helping people out should not be a enforce law in this country, because its just not right to force people. Although being a good Samaritan is the right thing to do, there can be certain effects to doing so. Helping someone cross the street is fine if you are going to direction anyway, but if someones is getting assaulted or robbed, that would be a bad situation to get involved in. The criminal could have a weapon on him and end up going for you. America making you help people is just getting rid of our rights and freedoms. It should be a choice for people to help out or not, because that is something we make daily. Not making this a low in the United States is granting freedom and safety of citizens.
