At Olympian High School one of the school policies is that electronic devices are not allowed in class. One exception is the use of a calculator. Although a calculator is an electronic device it is allowed since it is used to help students in math and science classes. On the other hand we can uses electronic devices as long it is not being used in class. For example during lunch, nutrition break and before and after school. I agree that it is acceptable to use a calculator in class but I don't agree that you can't use other devices. For example on finals week, if you were to finish a test early students should be allowed to use other electronic devices.
