Being a good samaritan is when you do something to help out another person in need. I believe that you shouldn't be required by law to help someone in need but at the same time you should do the right thing and help. The reason my view is why it is, is because some people just don't like to help others and if you force them to help they wont be happy and therefore they will do a sub-par job with helping another person.
