Should Citizens be Forced to Help Others?

To be forced to help others as a law should not be enforced. Many may have the choice to help others in need of it, but if everyone is forced to help other when in need, then most people will be breaking the law everyday. Also, if someone does not help another for a good reason and be put in jail for it that would not be fair to the accused. Yes, it is the right thing to do to help someone in need like if someone is being beat up, but it should not be enforced on people because it takes away their freedom of choice. It all comes back to karma, if they do not help someone else then probably they will be in a bad situation where no one will help them.
