The Good Samaritan

The good Samaritan is a type of person who helps anyone out in their time of need no matter what the convenience is. So should we all be forced, by law, to help a person in distress or in need? I feel like people should not be forced to help someone, but should be required to at least call for help. In fact, there is a certain law that states the exact same rule. "The Good Samaritan Law" can hold someone accountable for a death, injury, etc. of another if they did not even call for help. Although they are not required to physically assist the person there is no reason why they are not able to call for help. In my opinion, this rule is very appropriate for the situation.
