Vending Machines

One rule at Olympian High School is the rule that the vending machines cannot be used during class. Although this rule is not very strictly enforced, I still believe that students should still be able to use the machines during class to a certain extent. I understand that teachers do not want students eating snacks in their class which could be bought from the vending machines, but on the other hand, what about the vending machines that sell drinks? As a student, I know how thirsty I can become in the middle of class especially on a block day. To me, I feel as though it should be allowed to at least buy water from the vending machines during class since water will not attract any unwanted creatures into the building.
