Mochi Ice Cream

Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream
Mochi ice cream, a sweet, delectable, and gooey treat that can be consumed as finger food on any occasional day. This asian dessert may come of as strange to those that aren't familiar with it. The outer layer consist of a smooth Japanese rice substance covering known as mochi. Inside contains a filling of ice cream. Mochi ice cream can vary in sizes, usually comparable to the size of a semi-large golf ball. There are several flavors such as strawberry (see picture), mango, chocolate, vanilla, and green tea. Since this sweet is quite expensive in the U.S. I do not usually buy it often, but when I do, eating it is always a pleasure. Before eating I preferably cut it into 4 bite sized pieces. When you take your first bite into this chewy delicacy, your mouth may water and crave for more depending if you like it. Sometimes the mochi may stick to the sides of your teeth but  the ice cream compliments the dessert and is usually the best part.
