Baseball

Baseballs can look and feel different than others do. Old, worn, dirty, used baseballs are almost brown from all the dirt that it has hit, stained green from landing in the outfield grass, and every once in a while you will find a baseball with black smudges on it from the constant contact it makes with the baseball bat. The feeling of an old ball is a rough, cut up, and almost sand paper like texture on it with beat up laces. On the other hand you can tell when the baseball is brand new because it will be a bright white with the colored laces popping out of the round surface of the baseball. A new baseball feels smooth, and slippery kind of like a wooden floor, while the laces give you a sort of bumpy feeling in your hand.
